Expandable Baton Found On Man Fighting With DWI Driver At Secaucus Nightclub, Police Say

One driver had an expandable baton and another was charged with DWI by police who intercepted a fight at a Secaucus nightclub last month, authorities said.

The fight was reported at AJs on Secaucus Road in Secaucus just after 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 27, local Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

As officers were enroute to the nightclub, they stopped one vehicle that whose occupants were involved in the fight and allegedly found East Rutherford resident Jonathan Jachimczyk, 27, with an expandable baton.

Meanwhile, Xhoreno Shehu, 26, of Saddle Brook, was determined to be intoxicated, Miller said.

Jachimczyk was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon as well as a motor vehicle summons before being released.

Shehu was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
