NJ School Principal, Son Killed In Head-On Crash During Trip To South Africa
The halls of Dr. John Grieco Elementary School in Englewood will be far less bright come the 2024-25 school year. The school's principal, Dr. Daniela Small-Bailey, was killed in a crash in South Africa on July Fourth, her district announced. Historic Paterson Catholic Church Closing Indefinitely
St. Michael Catholic Church in Paterson will be closed indefinitely beginning Friday, March 1, the Diocese of Paterson announced. The church, at 74 Cianci St. was built in 1929 at a cost of $175,000 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The land the church sits on was originally purchased by Methodists in 1836 before being purchased by the Catholic Church in 1903. Kazimir's Pet Shop in Hackensack will be closing next month after 68 years in business. "The internet and chain stores have taken over the industry," the pet shop announced on social media.
