Maywood School District Offers Program On Child Substance Abuse, Prevention

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- The Maywood School District, in conjunction with the Maywood Police Department and the Hackensack, Rochelle Park and South Hackensack school districts presents: "A Path to Addiction Child Substance Abuse and Prevention."

The program, from 7–8:30 p.m. Tuesday, is presented by Detective Chris Lewicki of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force, and will take place in the Maywood Avenue School's large gymnasium.

Get the facts on substance abuse in Bergen County. Hear real stories from those affected by drug addiction. Learn strategies to prevent substance abuse. Start talking with children and break the silence. 

Pre-teens and teens, accompanied by a parent, are welcome to attend.
