The school will host a blood drive for students ages 16-18 with a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian on Nov. 20 in the gym from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Recognizing the high school's participation, Community Blood Services will offer scholarships to the school based on the success of the drives throughout the academic year (September 2015 to June 2016).
Community Blood Services Academic Scholarship Program scholarship breakdown:
- 50 to 74 units of blood = $500 scholarship
- 75 to 99 units of blood = $750 scholarship
- 100 to 149 units of blood = $1,000 scholarship
- 150 to 199 units of blood = $1,200 scholarship
- 200 and up units of blood = $1,500 scholarship
