HACKENSACK, N. J. -- Hackensack Police Chief Ken Zisa has filed a notice of intent to sue to get his job back, according to NJ.com.
Zisa plans to sue the city and the Bergen County Prosecutors Office for $35 million after an appeals court this past summer threw out fraud and misconduct convictions against him, along with the order removing him as police chief, NJ.com said.
Zisa served as Hackensack's chief from 1995 until his 2012 convictions. Zisa has filed notice that he intends to sue, NJ.com reported.
