Armful Of Stolen Maywood Electronics Lands Rochelle Park Man In Jail

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Maywood police arrested a Rochelle Park man after they found him walking down the street with more than an armful of what turned out to be stolen electronics in broad daylight Friday.

Matthew C. Szucs, 29, was carrying three Optimum cable boxes and a backpack full of stolen property taken moments earlier from an East Pleasant Avenue residence when he was stopped near Thelma Avenue around 3:30 p.m., Police Chief David Pegg told Daily Voice.

Szucs was being held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with burglary, theft and disorderly conduct.
