Salvatore Cacciatore, 64, Of South Hackensack

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Salvatore Cacciatore, of South Hackensack, died Thursday, Oct. 29, at the age of 64. 

Cacciatore was born in Sicily, Italy, and came to America 36 years ago. 

Before retiring, he was a welder for Aniero Concrete of Little Ferry. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years of Francesca (nee Cullaro); a son, Angelo Cacciatore, and his wife, Alexandra, of Saddle Brook, a daughter, Mary Errichiello, and her husband, Michael, of Saddle Brook; and his grandchildren, Angelo and Christian; his mother, Angela (nee Napoli); a sister, Rosalia Castellano, and her husband, Jack of Waxhaw, N.C.; and a brother, Ignazio Cacciatore, and his wife, Francia, of Hackensack.

His father, Angelo Cacciatore, died in 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack, with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery.
