The previous site “used coding and took a long time to update," Mayor Adrian Febre said.
The new user-friendly site was created a year ago to allow borough employees to keep the site fresh themselves instead having the information sent to volunteer to update in their free time.
Content continued to be loaded -- with more to come, including meeting agendas and minutes -- before borough officials began redirecting visitors from the old site.
“The department heads will have the ability to edit their own pages, so there will be a lot more content on there,” Febre said. “We will have photo galleries and the site as a whole will be much more interactive.”
