Firefighters Battle Blaze On Jersey Shore

First responders were called to a house fire in Ocean County, authorities said.

Heavy fire was reported on the second floor of a three-story home at 459 Tamiami Drive in Lavallette about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, initial reports said.

An unconfirmed report said that the home owner was rescued from the second floor.
