A former member of the Morris County Sheriff's Department, Kevin Helder, 39, was graduated from the police academy in 2008.

He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of NY College of Oneonta.

““I am extremely excited,” Officer Helder said. “I’m very honored to be here. This is great opportunity for me.”
