At 3 a.m., officers were on patrol at Broad Avenue and Brinkerhoff Terrace when they observed a black Jeep Liberty being operated by a man, later identified as Jimmy Barrera, wearing a black ski mask, Palisades Park police said.
The vehicle had been stolen an hour prior from the Bronx and Barrea was taken into custody and charged with unlawfully taking of means of conveyance, police said.
