TETERBORO, N.J. — Hundreds of people flocked to Teterboro's Bergen County Animal & Adoption Center on Saturday, Aug.19, as the center participated in the third annual Clear the Shelters Day in partnership with NBC4NY and Telemundo.
The shelter waived adoptions fees, ultimately finding new homes for 53 puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. Every animal available for adoption was spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, behaviorally evaluated and health checked.
Clear the Shelters is an annual nationwide pet adoption drive hosted by NBC and Telemundo owned stations across the country.
