A senior cat displaced in a house fire is in need of a home.
The Bergen County Animal Shelter is seeking a home for Lucas, who is 13 years old and described as a sweet boy.
He is on a special diet due to kidney problems and requires plenty of water.
Because of this, he urinates more often and will likely have to be confined to one area of the house.
"He is a good cat and will love you for giving him a chance," the shelter said
