Participating restaurants will donate 10% of their profit that day to the Women's International Zionist Organization (WIZO).

“We don’t do it for raising a big amount of money, but every single penny that we will make will go directly for hot meals for children,” said Galina Shenfeld, chairwoman of WIZO New Jersey. “People in New Jersey, by going out to eat, can help kids who are disadvantaged."

Participants include Tenafly’s Tavlin and Emanu-El Delicatessen, along with Englewood’s Hummus Elite.

Teaneck restaurants include Best Glatt, Sweets on Cedar, Chopstix, Mocha Bleu, Schnitzel Plus, Noah’s Ark, Shelly’s Cafe, Sababa Grill Mediterranea, FillerUp Kosher Wines, Nobo Wine and Grill, Chickies and the Teaneck Doghouse.

Doghouse owner Jonathan Gellis, whose kosher sports restaurant has participated in multiple "Dine to Donate" events, said giving back is something he’s extremely passionate about.

“There’s no one that’s over come to us that’s asked us to do something that we’ve said 'no' to,” Gellis said. “It was a no-brainer for us to be involved.”
