HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A new Campus Health Center is opening at Hackensack University Medical Center to provide convenient health care for employees and their families.
A key feature of the new center will be service within 24 hours of requesting it.
Robert C. Garrett, president and CEO, said the center was opened “to provide our health care team and their families with the highest-quality care that is convenient to their needs and schedule.
“HUMC cares about our employees’ health and well-being, and this new initiative demonstrates our commitment to them.”
Located on the seventh floor of the Medical Plaza at HUMC, the center officially opened Oct. 12 at 20 Prospect Ave.
Nearly 600 providers are affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Group, including physicians, advance practice nurses and physician assistants.
HUMC is also providing maintenance medications to employees without a co-pay, provided they maintain a relationship with a HUMG physician. The center also will assist employees in finding a physician.
