The 2024 Daily Voice Readers' Choice contest to name the Best of the Best in Bergen County began with reader nominations in October and ended with a voting period for finalists in 80+ categories in December.

According to its website, at ORA old-world tradition meets new-world techniques and flavors. 

The word "ora" means "now" in Italian, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, per its website.

"Amazing food!" said one Readers' Choice voter about the restaurant.

Other voters praised the menu options.

"Exceptional menu/presentation and extensive bar choices. Offer valet parking with all-around chic, comfortable interior atmosphere," said voter Lesley. "Our steaks were grilled perfectly and melted in our mouths. Many appetizers and pizza choices." 

Tom Silvestri, co-founder and executive chef at ORA, was pleased to win.

"We’re thrilled to be recognized as a Daily Voice Readers’ Choice Award winner. We’ve worked very hard to create ORA as an outstanding dining destination, but also as a way to give something back to Bergen County, and to Oradell in particular," said Silvestri.
