The 30-year-old victim was leaving the Sylvan Avenue (Route 9W) facility shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, when Harshkuma H. Patel, 29, of Piscataway, approached her in the parking lot, the prosecutor said. Rescue: Police Heroes Free Trapped Driver Knocked Cold In Crash Between 9W And PIP A team of police officers rescued a trapped driver who’d been knocked unconscious Thursday when her car barreled down an embankment and into a wooded area between Route 9W and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
