Atlantic City police were crediting automated license plate readers for helping arrest two men with a gun and a stolen vehicle, authorities said. Daniel Ringgold, 37, of Pennsauken, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 27. A Burlington man previously convicted of downloading child pornography admitted to committing the same crime, authorities said. Police were looking for the driver who killed a Camden woman in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Carla Mahan, 41, died in the crash on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. A Blackwood man was killed in a shooting in Runnemede, authorities said. Neville Molyneaux, 38, died on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. A waterfront house under construction caught on fire in Avalon, officials said. One person was hospitalized in an early-morning crash in Camden County Wednesday, Sept. 25, firefighters said. The Lawnside Fire Department responded to the crash, along with Magnolia Fire Co. Squad 29, at approximately 5 a.m., the LFD said on Facebook. Photos show that the crash happened along Route 30, outside of the Lawnside Commons on Route 30 and involved a pickup truck and two other vehicles. Woman, 65, Dies When SUV Strikes Guardrail, Crashing Into South Jersey Woods: Troopers
A Millville woman was killed when her SUV crashed into the woods in Maurice River Township, authorities said. Alice Ferraro, 65, died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 20, a state police spokesperson. Troopers responded to Route 347 North near milepost 7.5 at around 11:41 a.m. Investigators said Ferraro was driving a Honda CR-V when the SUV went off the left side of the road. The Honda crashed through a guardrail and went into nearby woods. Ferraro was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remained under investigation, troopers said.
