Police and EMS crews in Gloucester County were called to a report of a fatal shooting on Friday morning, authorities said.

First responders were on the scene of a shooting on Monroeville Road near Willow Grove Road in Franklin about 7 a.m., according to initial reports.

An unconfirmed report said a man was dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
