GARFIELD, N.J. -- Kids can sign up now for Garfield Junior Boilermakers Football Cheer. The deadline is Friday, June 17.
Boys and girls from grades K-8 are welcome to sign up. Here are the divisions: Mighty Mites, for K-2; Pee Wees, for grades 3-4; Juniors, for grades 5-6; and Seniors, for grades 7-8.
The cost for the season is $100, and it includes a uniform, two bows, brief, crop top, and an end-of-year trophy and party. Payment is due with registration.
You can register at the Garfield Recreation Center, 466 Midland Ave., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Coaches are also needed -- particularly those with experience.
