The ceremony took place at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and featured guest speaker Bruce Harper, former New York Jets running back and kick returner.
Harper -- whose organization, Heroes and Cool Kids, promotes a positive social environment -- encouraged the youngsters to pursue their dreams.
Other speakers included Lodi Mayor Emil Carafa Jr., Police Chief Vincent A. Quatrone and Superintendent of Schools Frank Quatrone.
Several graduates also read their essays.
The seventh-graders, who started classes on Sept. 29, and learned about vehicle safety, peer pressure, physical education and other aspects of police work.
The Lodi Board of Education funded the program.
