GARFIELD, N.J. -- The FBI on Thursday released surveillance photos of two women -- one armed with a pistol -- who authorities said robbed somewhere between $2,000 and $3,000 from a Garfield bank Wednesday afternoon.
Police joined by a Bergen County sheriff's K-9 unit conducted an intensive search of the area surrounding the Spencer Savings bank on Passaic Street, with no luck, authorities told Daily Voice.
Both women were short and appeared in their 20s, Garfield Police Lt. Richard Uram said.
One was a blue head scarf and carrying a large leather handbag, Uram said.
The other had dark, wavy hair with curls and was wearing light-colored clothing, he said.
