Kenneth A. Vanyo, 83, Lodi Resident

LODI, N.J. – Kenneth A. Vanyo, of Lodi, died Saturday, Jan. 16. He was 83.

Before retiring, he was a lead warehouse worker for Givaudan Corp in Clifton. He was a Korean War Marine veteran, a member of the Lodi VFW, Rochelle Park American Legion, former member of the Lodi Senior Citizens and AARP.

He was the father of Kenneth and his wife, Marie, of Florida; Alan of Hackensack; and John and wife, Toni, of Hackensack; grandfather of Kyle, Kenny, Raven, Alysha and Stacey; and brother of Violet Loveman and Antoinette Vanyo.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mary; and his wife, Phyllis “Filomena” (Salerno) Vanyo.

Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday for a 9:30 a.m. chapel service at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
