Carmelita T. “Millie” Salerno, 83, Of Lodi

LODI, N.J. -- Carmelita T. “Millie” SALERNO, of Lodi, died on Monday, Dec. 12. She was 83.

She was the daughter of the late Frances and John Lisacchi. Before retiring, she was a teacher’s aide for the Garfield Board of Education. 

She is survived by her husband,  Philip J. Salerno; children, Marlene Wurms and her husband Marcel, Barbara Salerno and Frank Salerno and his wife Nancy; siblings, Jack Cavaluzzo and his wife Vinnie, Ruth Delaney and her late husband Robert and Patricia D’Arrigo and her late husband Daniel; grandchildren, Michelle, Marissa and Frankie. 

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, Dec. 16 at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy from St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church Lodi at 10:30 a.m. Interment following at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation Thursday, Dec. 15 from 3 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church 125 Union St. Lodi, NJ 07644 would be appreciated.
