GARFIELD, N.J. -- The Garfield Prevention Coalition is trying to raise awareness of the dangers of impaired driving for National Impaired Driving Prevention Month.
Throughout December, the coalition is taking to the Internet to post a series of infographics that highlight the dangers of driving while impaired.
Topics covered include the number of deaths from impaired driving, the use of alcohol and marijuana while behind the wheel and demographic information on those who drive under the influence.
The coalition consists of community members who work together in an effort to promote the city’s well-being.
