Greg DiGuglielmo of Fair Lawn caught a Pokémon character in his backyard.

Washington Township's Derek Kademian snatched one outside his house and Fort Lee's Matthew Speiser found two on the 158 morning bus into Manhattan.

"I was having an absolute attack of my formative years running around my yard trying to catch a Pidgey," DiGugliemo, 29, said of the Nintendo-owned smartphone app, Pokémon Go.

Pokémon Go uses your phone’s GPS and clock to detect where and when you are in the game. It will make each Pokémon "appear" on the screen so you can catch them.

More characters will appear depending on where you are at what time.

Parks are huge.

DiGuglielmo has had luck around the lake at Saddle Brook Park.

"It lives up to what I expected," said Kademian, 25. "I caught a Charmander on my own porch.

"My 8-year-old self is stoked."
