Visitors will get a chance to meet Miss New Jersey 2016, Brenna Weick, as well as hear her sing, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
She also will read from "The Wizard of Oz" while at the library.
Brenna, 22, has a B.S. in psychology from High Point University, where she participated in campus community service organizations.
When she was 8 years old, Weick started singing and dancing on stage for the Little Miss Gloucester County Pageant. In the years that followed, Weick began competing in the Miss New Jersey Outstanding Teen local pageants.
“That’s kind of where it all began,” Weick said, crediting Miss Seashore Line Director Carol Taylor for helping her along and getting her interested in the Miss New Jersey Organization. “I just fell in love with the organization and made so many friends through it.”
She was crowned Miss New Jersey 2016 at the Ocean City Music Pier on June 16 and competed in the Miss America Pageant on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, Sept. 11.
