At 3:20 p.m., the collision occurred on Route 10 near Millbrook Avenue in Randolph, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, and Randolph Police Chief Will Harzula said.

Figueroa is being remembered as a kindhearted and selfless woman, who always put others before herself, according to a fundraiser set up for burial expenses.
“Maria was incredibly hardworking and the most loving, devoted mother,” her brother Juan Nieves wrote. “She was the heart of our family, and her loss has left an emptiness we can’t put into words.”
As of Monday, April 14, more than $20,000 has been raised.
Figueroa loved to travel and was a devoted sister to her siblings, devoted mother to her children and a devoted grandmother to her granddaughter, according to her obituary from the Tuttle Funeral Home.
Figueroa also overcame a battle with cancer, her obituary reads.
“Always with a smile on her face, she faced every challenge with courage, doing everything possible to improve,” her obituary reads. “Her courage and determination remain a source of inspiration to all who knew her.”
The three other people killed were Bertha Castaneda, a 67-year-old Dover resident, Diane Goetz, a 71-year-old Randolph resident, and Yexsel Reyes Granados, a 4-year-old Hackettstown resident.
Another child was transported to a hospital and two adults were treated at the scene, authorities said.
Visitation for Figueroa will be held at the Tuttle Funeral Home on Randolph on Wednesday, April 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by the funeral service, according to her obituary. The burial will be private, her obituary reads.
