Heroin, Crack, And A 2-Year-Old: Bergen County Duo Charged In 7-Eleven Traffic Stop, Cops Say
A Lodi man and woman were arrested after police say they were driving with heroin, crack cocaine, and a 2-year-old in the car on the Fourth of July in Rochelle Park.
Officer Chris Kiszka stopped a Ford F-150 at 11:45 p.m., after the vehicle was seen being driven carelessly into the 7-Eleven parking lot on Rochelle Avenue, police said in a release from Capt. James DePreta.
The driver, Reginald Murph, 40, refused to take field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, police said. A search of the vehicle turned up suspected heroin, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

BMW Crashes, Flips In Garden State Parkway Fatal, 2 Flee Scene, Njsp Says
One person was killed and another seriously injured after a BMW SUV packed with four Staten Island residents crashed and flipped along the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey State Police said.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, near milepost 130.2, in the southbound lanes of Woodbridge, according to a release from state police.
Troopers say the BMW SUV hit two other vehicles, a Ford SUV and a separate BMW passenger car, before running off the road, striking multiple trees, and overturning.
Of the four people inside the BMW SUV, two fled the scene, police said.

A 35-year-old Rockland County man was arrested for felony DWI after a wild crash wrecked multiple parked vehicles and left his car flipped in the road, police said.
The crash happened earlier this week on South Route 9W near house number 922 in Congers, police said in a release issued Saturday, June 21.

A 30-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, June 18, with stealing three cars from a Volvo dealership in Summit where he worked, authorities said.
Henrri Bonilla was an employee at Smythe Volvo at 40 River Rd. and used his access to key fobs to steal three vehicles over the course of eight weeks, Summit police said.
