Hasbrouck Heights To Host Meet The Candidates Night HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N,J. -- The Contemporary Club of Hasbrouck Heights will sponsor a council candidates night on Monday, October 24, at 7 p.m. in the Hasbrouck Heights Council Chamber. Both Republican council candidates Josephine Ciocia and Ronald Kistner and Democratic council candidates Christopher Hillmann and Ian Godfrey have been invited to participate. Leonia's Oktoberfest Benefits School Snack Program LEONIA, N.J. -- The 2016 Leonia Oktoberfest is a fun celebration of Bavarian tradition in New Jersey, complete with brats, schnitzel, live music and traditional Bavarian contests. Festivities will be held Saturday 4-11 p.m., at American Legion Hall, 399 Broad Ave., rain or shine. Admission for adults is $5, children are admitted free. River Edge Singer Launches Musical Comeback After Near-Fatal Accident RIVER EDGE, NJ -- When songstress Carolynn Monaco steps on stage with Jersey Jazz on Saturday night in Hackensack’s Picco Tavern, it will be the culmination of three years of rehab and work after a near-fatal car accident.
