William Paterson Football Falls to Rowan, 31-0 William Paterson lost to Rowan University, 31-0, Friday night in Glassboro, in the New Jersey Athletic Conference opener for both teams.  William Paterson, which beat Alfred State 43-13, was held to 68 total yards and two first downs in the game. The team punted 13 times, and the Rowan offense simply wore out the Pioneer defense, blowing open a 14-0 game, with 17 fourth-quarter points.
