Ex-NBA Player To Discuss Youth Sports At Leonia Middle School

LEONIA, N.J. -- Former NBA player Bob Bigelow will speak on "Adults and Children in Youth Sports; Who Wins, Who Loses?” Tuesday at Leonia Middle School in Fort Lee.

Bigelow's talk will be preceded by his youth basketball coaching clinic.

The clinic and talk are free.

Bigelow speaks worldwide about youth sports programs, and provides new approaches for positive change in fully meeting the needs of young athletes as the top priority. 

He was an NBA first-round draft choice and played four years for the Kansas City Kings, Boston Celtics and San Diego Clippers. Bigelow played collegiately at the University of Pennsylvania for Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Daly. 

Bigelow's coaching clinic is at 6 p.m., followed by the talk at 7 p.m. in the gym at the school, 500 Broad Ave.
