FORT LEE, N.J. -- Francine E. Vacante, a resident of Fort Lee, died Friday, April 15. She was 81.
She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and was a buyer for B. Altman & Co., New York City.
She is survived by her children, Andrea Kluepfel and her husband Charles, Debra Meltsner, Robyn Schenkman, Barbie Mitchell and her husband Patrick; grandchildren, John, Heidi, Ryan, Lindsay, Jenna, Michaela and Dylan; and great-grandson Benjamin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasqualino Vacante.
Chapel service in the Garden of Memories Chapel will be at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
