Love Lockdown On Edgewater Riverwalk?

EDGEWATER, N.J. — The Edgewater Riverwalk is beginning to look a lot like Pont des Arts bridge in France.

More and more padlocks seem to be locked into the fence behind the Edgewater Commons.

The same thing has been happening a few miles down the river in Hoboken at Pier C.

The superstition is that if a couple locks the padlock to a fence — with their names and other love notes scribbled on it — then their love will last forever.
