Leonia Public Library Sets All-Age November Learning Events

LEONIA, N.J. -- The Leonia Library has various events, classes and programs scheduled for all ages in November.

Free Use Makerspace Time - come and explore, experiment and tinker with a variety of different tools and equipment. There's a 3D printer, circuitry kits (Snap Circuits, LittleBits, Arduino, Roominate Dollhouse kits, etc.), button making machine, and more.Makerspace is part of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) creativity-stimulating educational philosophy.

Programs for Kids:

• Korean Storytime - Thursday, Nov. 12, 3:30 -- 4:30 p.m., for all ages.
• Upcycled CD Weaving (STEAM program) - Wednesday, Nov. 18, 3:30 -- 4:30 p.m., grades 2-4 (please RSVP).
• Harvest Festival - Tuesday, Nov. 24, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Programs for Teens/Tweens:

• Kaleidoscope Making (STEAM program) - Tuesday, Nov. 10, 3:30 -- 4:30 p.m. For grades 5 and up -- please RSVP.
• Thanksgiving Pie Making! - Thursday, Nov. 19, 3:30 p.m. For grades 5 and up -- please RSVP.

• Online Security and Privacy - Wednesday, Nov. 4, 7 p.m.
• Internet Genealogy Research - Monday, Nov. 16, 7 p.m.
• BALAM Dance Theater Performance: Myths and Songs, a program of dance and song - Sunday, Nov. 15, 2 p.m.
• Sewing Machine Basics and Infinity Scarf Making for Adults - Thursday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m. (waiting list).
• Monday Movie Matinee - Love and Mercy - Monday, Nov. 9, 2 p.m. - free popcorn and drinks!
• Career Workshop: Resume Writing - Thursday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m.

The Leonia Library is at 227 Fort Lee Rd. There is limited on-site parking.
