FORT LEE, N.J.– The Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs and the Fort Lee Artist Guild are sponsoring the annual Fort Lee Outdoor Art Show.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 in the plaza of the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center, 1355 Inwood Terrace.
There will be works of art for sale and a juried art show with prizes. Interested artists should call the Office of Cultural Affairs at (201) 693-2763, e-mail email@example.com or get an application here.
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs Best in Show ($150)
- Best Oil ($100)
- Best Acrylic ($100)
- Best Watercolor ($100)
- Best Pastel ($100)
- Best Other Medium ($100)
- Honorable Mention – Four Prizes of $25 each.
Participants should be professional or amateur artists 18 years of age or older. There is no fee for members of the Fort Lee Artists Guild. The guild invites non-members to join participate in the event. A $30 fee at registration will cover a one-year membership in the guild and the entry fee.
The application deadline is Sept. 9, 2016.
Spaces of approximately 10 feet will be provided. Artists must provide all hooks, wires, etc. necessary for hanging art work on the fence. “S” hooks are suggested. Please note: All works must be original. No copies may be exhibited for jurying.
