Fort Lee Expects Construction Uptick In 2016

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Mayor Mark Sokolich said during his State of the Borough address that 2016 will be busier for construction than last year, according to NorthJersey.com.

Construction on a second, 50-story apartment complex, a borough-owned cinema and a parking facility on Main Street are all projected to begin within the next few months, NorthJersey.com reported. 

Schools Superintendent Kenneth Rota said construction will begin on a four-story educational wing at the middle school in the spring, NorthJersey.com reported. The project will feature classrooms, a gym and a cafeteria, NorthJersey.com reported.
