A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to 11 years of custody under the Juvenile Justice Commission in connection with the stabbing death of his dad, a popular and beloved taxi driver on the Jersey Shore. Virginia Vertetis, infamously known as a “lady killer,” was sentenced to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison on Friday, according to a release by the Morris County police and court documents. Kearny Girl, 17, Charged In Death Of Baby Found In Trash Can
A 17-year-old girl was arrested in the death of an infant last October in Hudson County, authorities said. The Kearny teen was charged with aggravated manslaughter, child endangerment and desecrating human remains, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The girl was charged as a juvenile. A Change.org petition called "Justice for Baby Matthew" was launched by Angela Owens last October, after the infant was found in a trash can. A New Jersey man admitted to stabbing another man to death during an argument at an Ocean County home over three years ago, authorities said. Kendrick Coley, 29, of Little Egg Harbor, pled guilty Thursday to aggravated manslaughter in the May 2018 stabbing death of Richard Pone, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
