Chipotle Could Open Closter Plaza Store In November CLOSTER, N.J. — Popular Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle has submitted plans to the Closter Building Department to open a location in Closter Plaza in November. If the company's plans are approved, it will join a host of other eateries planning Closter Plaza locations, Closter Councilwoman Victoria Amatai told Daily Voice. Bareburger, Distrito and Village Whiskey are also planning on opening storefronts in the plaza. Italian restaurant Rudy's opened in Closter Plaza last month.

Come To The Haworth June Concert Series At The Pond HAWORTH, N.J. — The Haworth Arts Committee has organized two Sunday evening outdoor concerts this month at the pond. On Sunday, June 12 the Northern Valley High School Demarest jazz ensemble will perform from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Sunday, June 26 concert violinist David Podles will perform classical, jazz and folk music from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. Performances will be held under a large tent in the "H-Mart" parking lot at 250 Bergen Turnpike from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be a tent raising event at 9 a.m. on June 14 that is open to the public.
