GLEN ROCK, N. J. -- Perhaps not surprisingly, students at Glen Rock High School are taking the news well that Glen Rock school district officials approved four additional days off this year, according to The Echo, the high school's student newspaper.
Parents of younger children, though, are busy looking for child care to cover the added days off of March 24 and 28 and May 27 and 31. Glen Rock Public Schools board members appoved the no-school days Monday night, The Echo said.
The days originally were worked into the calendar in case any emergency closings came up during the school year, but no emergency days have been used, The Echo reports.
