Police: Unattended Suitcase Outside Fair Lawn CVS Held Clothing

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- An unattended suitcase found in a CVS parking lot and screened by the Bergen County Sheriff's Bomb Squad late Wednesday held clothing, the sheriff's Anthony Cureton told Daily Voice.

The discovery temporarily closed a stretch of eastbound Route 4 Wednesday night.

The Bomb Squad and other units responded to the Broadway pharmacy at 9:11 p.m..

Firefighters were placed on standby as a precaution.
