ONLY ON CVP: The driver of a sedan with handicapped license plates was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after her car rolled completely over in Fair Lawn during this afternoon’s rainstorm.
Fair Lawn’s Heavy Rescue squad used the “Jaws of Life” to free the woman after her Toyota Corolla rolled on westwbound Broadway near Plaza Road just after 4:30 p.m.
Also responding were Fair Lawn police, firefighters and EMS workers, along with the St. Joe’s paramedic team.
Broadway westbound was closed for more than a half-hour while crews worked to rescue the victim and then remove the car.
