GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- A Glen Rock man who left his wallet in his unlocked car while he attended a ballgame at Hamilton School returned to find cash and credit cards missing, authorities said.
The cards were used almost immediately following the Sunday thefts, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said Monday.
There were no known witnesses and no other evidence was recovered, the chief said.
Detectives were "following up on the credit cards transactions in an effort to identify a possible suspect," Ackermann said.
He urged citizens to lock their cars and protect their valuables.
