Firefighters responded to Cafe Amici on Sycamore Avenue sometime after 2 a.m. The fire rose to as many as three alarms before it was contained later in the morning.
There were no immediate reports of injuries, according to Glenn Schuck, a reporter for 1010 WINS news radio and an area resident.
