YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Evidence that included a blood sample lifted from a window by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification led to the arrest today of a 22-year-old Fair Lawn man for a local burglary last spring.
Jae Choi, who turns 23 in two weeks, was the man a resident on Plymouth Drive saw running from an April 28 break-in in which a $500 necklace was stolen, Fair Lawn Police Sgt. Brian Metzler said, less than two hours after Choi was taken into custody.
“Choi, who confessed to the crime, was released after being charged with burglary and theft,” Metzler said.
