SPECIAL REPORT: Municipal workers pulled off another duckling rescue, this time in Westwood this morning.
A resident spotted seven little ones trapped in a drain on Meadow Road between 4th Avenue and Whalen Court, with the worried mother nearby.
Heavy rain and serious flooding were headed toward North Jersey. So the resident called the Westwood DPW, which got the ducklings into a bucket.
A reunion quickly followed.
