FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- W. Richard McBean, of Fair Lawn, died Friday, Aug. 19. He was 92.
Born and raised in Jersey City, he settled in Fair Lawn 65 years ago.
He was employed as a sheet metal worker for A& P Sheet Metal Company in Rochelle Park for many years.
He was the husband of the late Estelle (Zeitmann) McBean; father of Carolynn Breur and husband David; and grandfather of Kaitlyn Breur.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home, 1 Veterans Way, Paramus, NJ 07652.
