FAIR LAWN, N.J. – John R. Quintano, of Easton, Pa., formerly of Fair Lawn and Mahwah, died Wednesday, March 16 in Bethlehem, Pa. He was 71.
He was born in Jersey City. He received a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a director of cash management at Nabisco Brands for 34 years and was employed as director of finance at United States Tobacco from 1997 to 2004. He was a parishioner of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Fair Lawn, and very active in Fair Lawn and St. Anne’s parish athletics.
He was the husband for 48 years to Cathleen M.Quintano (O’Connor); father of John and his wife, Angela, Michael and his wife, Krista, Robert, and Steve and his wife Karleigh; and grandchildren, Gabriella, Taylor, Colin, Reese and Tyler.
Visitation will take place at 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Fair Lawn. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
