FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Dorothy Harris, 94, of Fair Lawn, died Wednesday, Sept. 21.
She was born in Wallington and raised in Passaic, prior to settling in Fair Lawn 66 years ago.
She was a parishioner of St. Anne RC Church in Fair Lawn. She was a member and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 281 in Fair Lawn. She was a member of the Happy Seniors of Fair Lawn. An active member of her community, Harris enjoyed traveling and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry “Warren” Harris.
She is survived by her children, Robert Harris and wife Helen and Wayne Harris and wife Rose.; grandchildren, Donna Harris and husband Bach, Robert Harris and wife Janet, Kim Quintano and husband Anthony, Jill Crotsely and husband Will and Brian Harris and wife Gabby; and great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Madison, Dillon, Sami, Kayla, Abby and Alex.
A funeral service is planned for 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.
