“I loved her very much,” said Jared Eng of Tribeca, who is among three charged Wednesday with concealing a corpse. “She gave me everything.”

Eng, his 21-year-old girlfriend Caitlyn O'Rourke and their friend Jennifer Lopez, 18, were charged Wednesday after Paula Chin's body was found at her Bailey Hollow Road home, the NYPD said.

The death is being probed as a homicide as investigators believe Chin was stabbed in the throat in an apartment she kept in a building she owned in the Tribeca section of lower Manhattan, authorities said.

Robert Jones, family friend of nearly 30 years and nearby maintenance worker, said Chin would often talk about how good of a son Jared was.

"I don’t know what would make him do this," Jones told the New York Post.

Eng's brother, Brandon, called the NYPD Monday to report his mother as missing, saying the last time he saw his mother was Jan. 31, The Post reports.

Surveillance video from across the street shows Eng, O'Rourke and Lopez bringing a large bag out the front of their Vestry Street building and toward the family's black SUV, the article says.
